Once again, Microsoft is attempting to entice computer buyers into choosing a Surface device over other high-end computing options by dropping the price on specific Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices with a $150 gift code.
A little while ago, Microsoft pitched a similar discount for its Surface devices, where buyers could go through the buying process of particular Surface Pro 4 and Surface Book devices and receive the $150 gift code just before check out.
According to listings online from the Microsoft Store, a Surface Pro with 256GB, 8GB RAM and an Intel Core i5 processor are eligible for the $150 gift code as well as Surface Books with similar configurations.
As with most gift card offers, these deals are available for a limited time. Interested parties have until January 31, 2017, to take advantage of the offers and get a Surface Pro 4 for roughly $1,100 and a powerhouse Surface Book for around $1,600, before taxes.
As Microsoft prepares for its fall hardware event on October 26th, it is interesting to see the company continue to offer measured discounts on its Surface stock.
