Microsoft revealed recently that a new updated Fresh Paint app will launch alongside Windows 8.1 and also on Windows Phone 8. Microsoft has been working hard to deliver the highest quality, most realistic painting and drawing experience possible with the Fresh Paint app.
Earlier today we learned about the GDR3 update for Windows Phone 8, along with developers receiving access to the preview of GDR3. Not to be outdone, Microsoft has also rolled out the Fresh Paint app for Windows Phone 8, an update that was promised last week.
“The unveiling of the next Windows Phone 8 update wasn’t the only exciting update news today. Microsoft’s free and innovative Fresh Paint app for Windows Phone 8 also received the refresh we first blogged about last week,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.
The updated app features a new pencil mode, a new Inspire Me option, new photo filters, revamped user interface, and more. The Windows Phone 8 app is now much more consistent with its Windows 8 brother. Microsoft has also added a “Save To” icon that lets you save to SkyDrive and finish your project on your Windows 8 PC.
