Microsoft Store offers free wireless charging accessory when you buy a Lumia Icon or Lumia 928

The Microsoft Store is known for its deals and this new deal is definitely worth taking advantage of if Verizon is your mobile carrier. Microsoft is offering a free wireless charging accessory if you purchase a brand new Lumia Icon or Lumia 928 from the Microsoft Store.

This offer ends March 16th and all you have to do is purchase the newly released Lumia Icon or the Lumia 928. Microsoft made no mention if you are required to sign a new two year agreement with Verizon, but this is likely the case.

Here’s what Microsoft had to say about the Lumia Icon: “See and hear what you’ve been missing with the Nokia Lumia Icon. Get gorgeous HD video and awesome stereo sound. A 20 MP camera sensor and single-finger zoom make it easy to get close to the action. You’ll get great performance with quad-core technology, so you can quickly switch from email to games to video. With built in wireless charging, the wireless charging stand or plate is the perfect complement to your new phone.”

Verizon’s latest flagship Windows Phone device not only features a large 5-inch display, but also 1080p resolution, 20 megapixel PureView camera with Carl Zeiss optics, optical image stabilization, and dual-capture mode. The Lumia 928, on the other hand, features an 8.7MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics and ClearBlack technology, allowing you to see your screen in bring outdoor light. This smartphone is also touted as one of the best when it comes to low light photography.

The wireless charging plate from Nokia (dt-900), starts at roughly $25. All you have to do is set your device on the plate and your phone will begin to charge wirelessly. These charging plates are sold in various colors, but quantities vary by store.

Head over to the online Microsoft Store to find a location near you. We recommend giving them a phone call before heading into store to see if the offer is available.
