Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter now a Windows Universal App

If you own a Microsoft’s Wireless Display Adapter, you might want to check the Windows Store now for a new app update for its companion app.

The update to the Microsoft Display Adapter app brings the app version number to version 3.0.74.0. While nothing new has been noted in the version notes portion of Windows Store, the app update has been rumored to bring better functionality when using the device with Lumia 650 smartphone. Overall, the update should deliver fixes and improvements to help you better control the device that projects your notebook, tablet or smartphone to a TV or monitor.

If you don’t already own the $49.95 Microsoft Display Adapter, you can check it out by clicking here. The device is truly nifty and allows you to send what’s on Miracast enabled phone, tablet, or laptop to your big-screen monitor.
