Netflix for Windows 8 snags update, brings some changes to the UI

For those who are using the Netflix app on your Windows 8.1 PC, laptop, or tablet, there is some exciting news. The official client of the movie and TV show streaming service has snagged an update today. While there is no changelog provided with the update, the refined user interface is easy to spot.

The company recently did some work on its logo, the app seems to reflect that change — but the ever so slight difference is hard to notice. Besides that, we are surmising that the app has squashed bugs and provided performance improvements.

“Netflix is the world’s leading subscription service for watching TV episodes and movies. Get the free app as a part of your Netflix membership and you can instantly watch thousands of TV episodes & movies. If you are not a Netflix member sign up for Netflix and start enjoying immediately with our one-month free trial,” the updated app description reads.

For those who are yet to try out the Netflix on your Windows 8.1-powered systems, there is a one-month trial through which you can avail most of the paid services. You can snag the updated application from the download link below, and take the app for a whirl. Let us know in the comments below if you notice any new improvements.
