Nvidia releases GeForce 331.82 WHQL Game Ready drivers for Windows 8.1

Nvidia has rolled out an updated set of WHQL Game Ready drivers for Windows 8.1. This driver is the recommended driver update for those of you game on Windows 8.1 as it adds performance enhancements for a few new games.

“This 331.82 Game Ready WHQL driver ensures you’ll have the best possible gaming experience in Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and Need for Speed: Rivals. These Game Ready drivers will also provide performance enhancements in a wide variety of different games. When running at 4K resolutions, SLI performance increases by as much as 50% in key titles like Metro: Last Light, Crysis 3, and Battlefield 4,” Nvidia stated on the driver download page.

These drivers come bundled with GeForce Experience 1.7.1, which adds support for Nvidia’s GameStream and GeForce ShadowPlay features. GameStream allows one to stream PC games from their GeForce GTX PC directly to a SHIELD device, while ShadowPlay is a game capture tool.

Compared to the 327.23 WHQL drivers, 331.82 WHQL offers a 50% performance boost on GeForce 400/500/600/700 series GPUs in several PC games. Hit the download links below to snag the new drivers.
