Office 365, the productivity suite from Microsoft, has been doing great lately. Just this week, the software giant collaborated with GoDaddy to help small businesses.  And now, RCS MediaGroup, a leading multimedia group from Italy has adopted Office 365 alongside Windows Azure, Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Lync 2013 and SharePoint 2013.

The Italian multimedia company shook hands with its longtime friend to escalate its existing technologies – cloud-based operations, productivity suites etc.  “With the benefits of a consistent approach for the end user, complete transparency for the delivery and the availability of Office applications, there will be more and more opportunities for our employees to continue to deliver new, innovative ideas,” said Umberto Tonelli, chief information officer of RCS MediaGroup.

Implementation of these technologies will help the employees to work in sync without worrying about their local time zones. It will also benefit the IT department in finding the right tools and protecting and encompassing all of the devices in a much more efficient way.  “For the IT department, this is a win-win situation; we are protecting our investments in technology, diminishing the risk of a massive deployment and finding new space to introduce innovation.”, Tonelli adds.
