Microsoft looks like it’s taking full advantage of all the good mojo around their hot Surface brand lately, and is using it to clear out some inventory on entry level Surface 3 devices. In somewhat of a last minute deal (but one that’s good until January 16th if Santa leaves you money for Christmas), Microsoft has cut prices in both the US and UK Stores.
In the US, the Surface 3 is now $100 off, and you can get a Surface 3 Type Cover for an additional $50 savings. The $100/$50 deals are across the board on all Surface 3 models, but do note that only the 64GB/2GB RAM version appears to be in stock, with the others marked as “email me when available.”
The UK sale is set up a bit differently. There’s no discount offered on the LTE models, although they’re “out of stock” in the UK, too. The 64GB model carries a £50 discount, whild the 128GB/4GB RAM version is in stock at a discount of £60. Instead of a discount on Type Covers, the UK Store offers a NOW TV 3 month Entertainment Pass.
As usual, the Surface 3 comes with a free one year subscription to Office 365 Home, good for 1 user on a PC, tablet, and phone.
