Windows 10 Mobile gets its own update history page

We already have the recently announced Windows 10 update history page making its way to the web for all Windows Insiders to see. Now, Microsoft is also pulling back the curtain on Windows 10 Mobile update developments and putting them on the web as well.

Alongside the recent release of Windows 10 Mobile Insider preview build 10586.107, Microsoft has also announced the arrival of the Windows 10 Mobile update history page. Perhaps in an effort to be more transparent about what each mobile build release has tucked away in its preview, Microsoft has created a web page where Insiders can go and get a detailed breakdown of the fixes, bugs, and features for releases.

From time to time, we release updates that add new or improved features that make your device even better. The following sections summarize what’s been included in each update so far. The most recent update is listed first.

Updates to Windows 10 Mobile are cumulative. When you install the latest update, you also get all the previous updates. Only updates that apply to your device are downloaded and installed, and update availability varies by device, region, and mobile operator.”

As of right now, the page navigates to a subsequent page where Insiders and users are familiarized with the newest features to Windows 10 Mobile that include an introduction to Windows Hello, color and theme settings, Continuum, and much more. Unlike the Windows blog or the newly minted Windows 10 update page, where the Windows team covers known issues, fixes and feature listing in detail, this new page appears to be more of high-level introduction to Windows 10 Mobile. As for a more detailed breakdown of features and fixes amongst the various mobile versions, we may still have to refer to the Windows blog for the time being.
