AdDuplex runs cross promotion ads on Windows Phone and Windows Store apps, and they have released the latest numbers their tracking data shows for the month of November. The report reveals the performance of Windows Phone as well as the devices powered by the operating system for the month of November.
As per the new figures, Windows 10 Mobile usage share has increased to 7 percent, compared to 5.7 percent last month. The number will likely increase when more people get their pre-ordered Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XLs. The new operating system is also set to hit existing devices in the coming months in phases to selected devices in start. Windows Phone 8.1 is running on 78.9 percent of phones tracked by AdDuples,  with Windows Phone 8 on 9 percent and Windows 7 on 5 percent of devices.

When it comes to Windows Phone handsets, the good old Lumia 520 still top the charts worldwide with a 14.6 percent share, but it has started to decline with every passing month — it fell by 0.7 percent in November. The other contenders in the top five Windows Phone devices includes the Lumia 535, 630, 635 and 530, all of which have seen a negligible increase in their market share.
The scenario is a little different in the US where it’s led by the LTE enable Lumia 635 with a 32.5 percent market share with the Lumia 640 and Lumia 521 on the second and third spot. This month, the ad sales firm also managed to take a look at the Turkish market where the Lumia 520 is leading the list with over 18 percent share, followed by the good old Lumia 1320 and Lumia 820 with 11.2 and 10 percent share, respectively.

There are still no surprises when it comes the Windows Phone manufacturers. Microsoft is leading the charts in this category with a 97.02 percent share followed by HTC and Samsung. There are hardly any changes here, and it’s expected to remain the same unless any other key manufacturers jumps on the Windows 10 Mobile bandwagon.
It will be interesting to see how quickly Microsoft rolls out the new operating system for existing handsets. At the moment, the Lumia 950 and the Lumia 950 XL appears to in focus, and have apparently received strong demand in markets where it went on sale.
