Xbox app for Windows 10 Insiders updated to include Xbox beta app features

Laurent Giret

Earlier this week, the Xbox Beta app on Windows 10 received an update which brought several new features plus the usual performance and bug fixes. But if you’re a Windows 10 Insider on the Fast Ring, all these updates have now rolled out to the standard Xbox app which has been updated to the version 19.19.20000.0.

Here is the complete changelog below:

• Edit and share GameDVR clips with any editor
• Share to Twitter from Xbox app
• Top PC game support, including online presence and game hubs
• Customize your profile-enhanced!
• Better suggestion engine for friends
• See your Xbox friends in the People app on Windows
• Performance and bug fixes

Among the notable new features, the integration of top PC games such as League of Legends and XCOM 2 with Game Hubs on Xbox Live is set to make the app a true gaming hub on Windows 10 PCs and phones. The integration of Xbox friends in the People app is also promising, but we couldn’t make it work on our own devices yet (it could depend on if your friends chose to display their real names on Xbox Live). Let us know in the comments what do you think of these new features.
