A new agreement has been made between Microsoft and several big name companies when it comes to disclosing app data usage. The new agreement will require these companies to inform app users how much data will be used by that app before it is downloaded.
Microsoft has unveiled a new feature for it's Bing doing engine that allows users to link related pages to search results. The new Linked Pages in Bing pretty much allows you to have more control in how you show up on a Bing search result.
New screenshots were leaked today showcasing the Windows Store in Microsoft's upcoming Windows 8 operating system. The screenshots are in Chinese but showcase several games as well as two apps that are sure to cause a buzz.
With the recent changes in privacy policies that Google has implemented across its line of products, Microsoft has been jumping on top of the search engine giant with repeated attacks. This time, we get to see a new video poking fun at Google Apps.

Hotmail, the popular web-based email service of Microsoft, is getting better at fighting graymail with a set of features that Microsoft has introduced. The company claims to have conquered graymail over 100 million times.
Earlier today, new photos of what appeared to be Office for iPad leaked onto the web, revealing a Metro type UI, as well as support for editing Word, Excel and PowerPoint presentations. A mere few hours later, a Microsoft spokesperson has claimed that these photos are fake....
A new report indicates that the popular Microsoft productivity suite Office is expected to be released for the iPad very soon as a new test build has been uncovered showcasing a Metro interface and indicating four apps that will be a part of the suite.
In a new Building Windows 8 blog post, Microsoft has detailed an improved language support feature in Windows 8. Now in a centralized location, Windows 8 users can easily switch between the 109 total languages.

Microsoft has launched a new video series called "Minute of Mango" aimed to give you a quick one-minute tutorial on a Windows Phone 7.5 Mango related task. Microsoft hopes to broadcast three new tips every week for ten weeks.
In yet another attack towards Google, Microsoft claims that the search engine giant has been placing ad-tracking cookies without permission and bypassing the default privacy settings in Internet Explorer. The fix? Use Internet Explorer 9.
